Delegation is one of the most critical leadership skills for organizational and personal success. However, it is extremely misunderstood and the training for everyone involved is extremely inadequate. We tend to micromanage on the one extreme or assign and walk away on the other. Leadership team members benefited individually in professional development and the organization became more effective. Much less energy was devoted to non-productive interaction, resulting in better and more expedient decision making.

In summary, during a two year period, Dan led the leadership team through multiple dimensions of leadership development, including team building, succession planning and personal professional development of each member.
