One of my core values of leadership is to leave everyone better than you found them.  What this means to me is that as a leader, I need to be very intentional about seeing meaningful opportunities to make emotional deposits into someone’s life.  If this is not on my agenda, I will default into tactical outcomes and miss an incredible moment.  I love this post by David Naylor:
