It always amazes me when I take the time to get some good feedback from other people on how well I am leading. They see things and hear things that never cross my radar and its important to have some internal and external sources to evaluate your performance. Casey Nieuwhof has some great thoughts:

Leadership team members benefited individually in professional development and the organization became more effective. Much less energy was devoted to non-productive interaction, resulting in better and more expedient decision making.

In summary, during a two year period, Dan led the leadership team through multiple dimensions of leadership development, including team building, succession planning and personal professional development of each member.
